Behada Wood Behada wood comes from the Beleric Myrobalan (Terminalia bellirica) tree, a large deciduous tree found in India and Southeast Asia. The wood is described as having bluish or ash-grey, longitudinally cracked bark and large, oblong or obovoid leaves. The tree yields ovoid, grey-colored drupes (fruits) with a velvety surface, which are valued for their medicinal properties in Ayurveda
